It is important to consider a few things before bringing a puppy into your home.

  • Golden Retrievers are active and friendly dogs.
  • Goldens will need regular exercise to keep them from becoming obese.
  • A Golden Retriever dogs have a water-repellant double coat. The coat sheds seasonally, so you will want to brush regularly.
  • The puppy will need training to learn its boundaries and discipline.
